CUPRA Raval EV: specs, range, price and 2026 launch
Discover the new CUPRA Raval electric car: MEB+ FWD hatch with up to 450 km range, 26,000-euro base price, 211-226 hp, VZ Extreme trim, and 2026 market launch.
CUPRA has revealed the key specs of its new Raval electric car, which is set to reach the market in early 2026. This compact hatchback, just over four meters long, is built on the MEB+ platform with front-wheel drive and will be produced in Martorell. It will be the brand’s most affordable EV, aimed at younger buyers and positioned against contenders like the Renault 5. Despite its role as an entry point, the Raval keeps the brand’s sporty edge: a 15 mm lower ride height, adaptive dampers, and crisp steering align it more with hot hatches than with the average city car slated for 2025.

The lineup includes two Dynamic variants rated at 211 hp and a range-topping VZ Extreme with 226 hp. The latter adds an electronic locking differential, sport seats, and 19-inch wheels. Driving range reaches up to 450 km (WLTP) for the Dynamic and around 400 km for the VZ. The base price is 26,000 euros, referring to a forthcoming version with a smaller battery and roughly 300 km of range—an appealing proposition in the budget-friendly EV bracket. On paper, the balance of performance and price looks well-judged.
The Raval is set to become a pivotal project for the Spanish brand. CUPRA’s leadership indicates the model reflects a push to make electric cars both emotional and attainable. If the production car stays true to this brief, it could open the door to the marque for a new wave of drivers.
