Ford Puma Gen-E Black Edition: bold blue paint, black trim, and a name that undersells it

Ford has added a new Black Edition to the electric Puma Gen-E lineup, pairing bold Azura Blue paintwork with black accents and a blue-stitched interior. Orders opened July 21, 2026.
Ford has expanded the European lineup of its electric Puma Gen-E with a new Black Edition. Despite the name, the main body colour is a striking blue called Azura Blue. It’s paired with a black roof, black exterior mirror housings, and matte 18-inch Asphalt Black wheels. Orders for the new trim opened on July 21, 2026.
The dark theme continues inside: the car gets a black headliner, special sill plate trim, and Candy Blue contrast stitching on the seats, doors, and dashboard. Standard equipment includes matrix LED headlights with glare-free high beam and a cornering light function.
Ford hasn’t announced any extra power or a different battery for the Black Edition. The updated Puma Gen-E can travel up to 417 km on the WLTP cycle thanks to an optimised battery design. Cargo space, including the under-floor GigaBox compartment, reaches 574 litres.
The model has already become important to the brand’s European business: 32CARS.RU previously reported how the electric Puma Gen-E became the family’s one-millionth car.
The Black Edition is aimed at buyers who want a more eye-catching look without switching to a different powertrain. Pricing and the full list of markets where the trim will be offered haven’t been disclosed yet.
