Ford teases the new Mustang Dark Horse, a track-focused version with a supercharger, expected to debut on January 15. Learn about its power, features, and pricing.

Ford has released a teaser for the new Mustang Dark Horse, which will become the most powerful and track-focused version of this model. The car's premiere is expected on January 15, likely at the Detroit auto show. In a short video, the characteristic whine of a supercharger can be heard, indicating the use of a compressor.

Currently, the Mustang Dark Horse is equipped with a naturally aspirated V8 5.0 Coyote engine producing 500 horsepower. A Handling Package is available for the model, featuring a retuned chassis, a rear spoiler, and adjustable strut mounts. However, the new version promises a noticeable power increase and additional track-oriented modifications.

Ford already offers a supercharger kit for the Mustang GT and Dark Horse, boosting output to 810 horsepower and 834 Nm. These figures are considered likely for the future track-focused Dark Horse. An option with a supercharged V8 5.2 Predator engine, used in the Mustang GTD, is also possible. The expected price for the new model starts at $80,000 and above.

Meanwhile, as reported by the publication 32CARS.RU, Ford is facing a severe shortage of qualified specialists.
