Genesis unveils GV60 Magma: 650 hp luxury EV, 0–200 km/h in 10.9 s, 264 km/h top speed, 84 kWh battery and 346 km range. Priced at 96.57M won in Korea.

On January 13, Genesis officially unveiled the production GV60 Magma, the brand’s first high-performance model. Positioned as the opening chapter of a new Luxury High Performance direction, it pairs serious pace with an elevated level of comfort.

The GV60 Magma uses two electric motors for a combined 448 kW (609 hp) and 740 Nm of torque. Engage Boost and output briefly rises to 478 kW (650 hp) and 790 Nm. It sprints from 0 to 200 km/h in 10.9 seconds and tops out at 264 km/h, the highest figure among Genesis EVs—numbers that read like a clear statement of intent.

A 84 kWh battery provides a certified range of 346 km in Korea. For stability under sustained loads, Genesis reworked the cooling and motor-control systems. The suspension was also revised with a lower roll center, electronically controlled dampers, and dedicated chassis geometry—a setup that hints at consistent performance, not just headline sprints.

Visual changes include a wider track, a lower body, 21-inch wheels, and distinctive aerodynamic elements. Inside, the Magma adds sport seats, extra sound insulation, and active road-noise cancellation. The intent is clear: sharper responses without abandoning the brand’s calm, refined demeanor.

The GV60 Magma arrives in a single specification priced at 96.57 million won. It stands among the most notable sports-car premieres of 2026, marking a new trajectory for Genesis.
