Discover the Fiat Grande Panda Pop, a back-to-basics entry-level hatch with a 1.2L turbo, manual gearbox and no infotainment screen, priced from €23,999.

Fiat has unveiled the entry-level Grande Panda Pop, the most straightforward and affordable take on the model. Built on the Stellantis Smart Car platform, the lineup now stretches beyond electric and hybrid versions to include a gasoline option with a manual gearbox. Pricing starts at €23,999, undercutting the hybrid by €1,000.

The Pop’s defining trait is its radical simplicity. There’s no infotainment display; in its place sits a matte panel with a USB port and a dedicated smartphone holder. An audio system is fitted, though it’s pared back to two speakers. At the same time, a signature touch remains: the blue dashboard with yellow accents comes as standard.

Outside, the Pop is easy to spot by its halogen headlights, the absence of LED elements front and rear, matte plastic mirrors, and black steel wheels with no hubcaps. The base spec also skips a rear-view camera, cruise control, heated mirrors, and power accessories, yet air conditioning is standard.

Under the hood is a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo engine with 100 hp, paired with a mechanical handbrake for a deliberately analog feel. In a market obsessed with screens and software, this back-to-basics approach lands as a refreshing counterpoint—and it has already made the Pop one of the most talked-about debuts on the auto show circuit.
