Mazda CX-6e EV confirmed for Australia with 483 km WLTP range
Explore the Mazda CX-6e electric crossover, coming to Australia with a 78 kWh LFP battery, 483 km WLTP range, 195 kW DC fast charging on Changan’s EPA platform.
The Mazda CX-6e electric crossover, unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show, is set to reach the Australian market within the year.
Under the skin, the CX-6e is built on Changan Automobile’s EPA electric-vehicle architecture—a pragmatic choice that should streamline development and rollout.
Mazda Australia indicated that full local details, including pricing and specifications, will be shared closer to launch.
In Europe, the CX-6e is fitted with a 78-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, as in the 6e. The claimed driving range is up to 483 km under the WLTP cycle, and DC fast charging at up to 195 kW is said to bring the battery from 10 to 80% in a stated 24 minutes—a set of figures that looks competitive for a mainstream EV crossover.
