XPeng reveals 2026 G7 Super Range hybrid, updated G6 and G9
XPeng unveils its 2026 lineup: G7 Super Range hybrid SUV with 1,704 km range, updated G6 EV and new G9. 800-volt, 5C charging and AI power lead the spec.
XPeng unveiled three 2026 newcomers, with the G7 Super Range as the headliner. The company says it is the world’s longest-range hybrid SUV: total driving range reaches 1,704 km on the CLTC cycle, while pure-electric mode covers up to 430 km. The model uses an 800-volt architecture and a battery supporting 5C charging. The equipment list includes Turing AI chips, active cabin noise cancellation, and an upgraded interior trim in the top specification. On paper, those numbers are designed to turn heads.

XPeng also rolled out the updated G6 for 2026. The crossover adopts a modern electronic architecture supporting second-generation AI models, up to 2,250 TOPS of computing power, and low energy consumption at 12.5 kWh per 100 km. European sales have already turned the G6 into a leader among next-generation midsize electric SUVs. The efficiency claim is notable and aligns with the car’s clean-sheet electronics push.

Rounding out the announcements, the 2026 XPeng G9 makes its debut. The new flagship large SUV keeps the previous generation’s starting price but adds a matte silver paint option, an exterior enhancement pack, and expanded equipment. Air suspension, an 800-volt system, and a 5C battery are standard. Max, Ultra SE, and Ultra trims are available, bringing more advanced driver assists and increased performance. Holding the entry price while piling on features should sharpen its value appeal.
XPeng is betting on a blend of high energy efficiency, ultra-fast charging, and a powerful AI platform, a combination that reinforces the brand’s standing as a technology leader in China and Europe. As a product strategy, it feels cohesive and well-timed for buyers watching the EV space.
