DS Automobiles heads to the Brussels Motor Show 2026 with four electrified models: DS 3 E‑TENSE, No. 4 E‑TENSE, DS 7 Plug‑in Hybrid 225, and No. 8 flagship

DS Automobiles has confirmed it will attend the Brussels Motor Show 2026, opening on January 9, and plans to bring four electrified models to its stand. The showcase will span the city-focused DS 3 E‑TENSE, the premium compact No. 4 E‑TENSE, the DS 7 Plug‑in Hybrid 225 SUV, and the brand’s new flagship, the fully electric No. 8 coupe‑crossover.

The DS 3 E‑TENSE will appear in the limited DS PERFORMANCE Line treatment, presented as a bridge between the core range and the brand’s racing arm. Output is rated at 156 hp, while the show car is finished in the Cashmere signature shade with an expanded set of exterior accents for a more expressive look.

The No. 4 E‑TENSE is positioned as one of DS’s key new offerings in the compact class. The electric version delivers 213 hp and promises up to 450 km of range. A notable emphasis is placed on “electric” conveniences: route planning that factors in charging stops, battery preconditioning, e‑Routes services, and remote control features. At the same time, the broader No. 4 lineup will be multi‑energy: alongside the BEV, a 145‑hp hybrid and a 225‑hp PHEV with up to 81 km of electric driving are part of the plan. The strategy reads pragmatic, giving buyers clear choice without stepping away from electrification.

The DS 7 Plug‑in Hybrid 225 is pitched as a long‑legged premium SUV for everyday use and highway travel. On the stand it will appear in ETOILE specification, pairing a Crystal Pearl exterior with a Basalt Black nappa leather cabin—a configuration that naturally leans into comfort and refinement.

The headliner is the No. 8, DS’s new flagship. In FWD Long Range guise it claims up to 750 km WLTP with consumption of 15.9 kWh/100 km and more than 500 km on the highway. DS attributes this to aerodynamics, citing a Cx of 0.24 and a low SCx. The model will be offered with two battery options, in front‑ or all‑wheel drive, with peak output across the range reaching 350 hp. In Brussels, the No. 8 will be shown in a two‑tone Palladium Grey finish with an ETOILE interior trimmed in Chestnut Brown nappa—an understated pairing that puts the spotlight on the technical brief and its efficiency claims.
