Volkswagen reveals UK pricing for the all-new T-Roc on MQB Evo: from £31,620. 1.5 eTSI mild-hybrid, DSG only, trims Life, Style, R-Line. Orders open 8 Jan 2026.

Volkswagen in the UK has revealed pricing for the all-new T-Roc and confirmed that orders open on 8 January 2026. The crossover now sits on the MQB Evo platform and continues to slot between the T-Cross and Tiguan. What buyers will notice most, though, is the sharper pricing: the recommended figure starts at £31,620 including taxes, a clear step up from the previous entry point.

At launch, British customers get a single powertrain: a 1.5-litre eTSI with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. It comes in two outputs—116 or 150 hp—and there’s no choice of gearbox anymore, as the manual has been dropped in favour of a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Another decision likely to split opinion, especially given local weather and habits, is the lack of all-wheel drive in the configurator.

The trim line-up is simplified to three at the outset: Life, Style and R-Line, with the sportier flavour largely in the visuals. Full hybrids are promised further down the road, but for now Volkswagen is betting on one engine and a straightforward equipment strategy.

Practicality has inched forward, with boot space now up to 475 litres with the rear seats upright—30 litres more than the outgoing model. The cabin leans into digital features and driver assistance: a 12.9-inch infotainment screen is standard, a head-up display is optional, and the suite includes Travel Assist and Park Assist Pro, the latter allowing short-range remote parking via smartphone. Style and R-Line add a digital instrument cluster, and Style can be specified with seat massage. It’s the kind of everyday usability and tech mix that tends to win over test-drive impressions, even if some will still miss the manual and all-wheel drive options.
