Nissan’s 2026 Europe lineup: all-electric Juke (400 km WLTP), refreshed Ariya, and possible Kicks e-Power hybrid focused on EVs and hybrids. Rollout in 2026.

2026 will be a pivotal year for Nissan, which, against a challenging financial backdrop, is doubling down on electrifying its lineup. A headline moment will be the next-generation Nissan Juke, going fully electric for the first time. The compact crossover remains one of the brand’s best-selling models in Europe and a key pillar for the region, and the shift reads more like a timely course correction than a gamble.

The third-generation Juke is being developed on the CMF-B EV platform and will be technically related to the new Renault 4. Its WLTP range is expected to exceed 400 km. The move to battery power has already sparked debate, given the Juke previously came only with traditional powertrains, but the promised range should ease early doubts among everyday buyers.

Also in 2026, Nissan will update the Ariya electric crossover. The model will receive revisions to exterior design and equipment, while the powertrain remains unchanged. The updated Ariya has already been shown in Japan, and Europe will see a phased rollout during the year. The strategy signals a focus on refinement rather than reinvention—sensible for a car that already covers the basics well.

Nissan is also considering bringing the new Kicks SUV to Europe with the e-Power hybrid system. If approved, it would be offered exclusively as a hybrid. That positioning would neatly serve markets where full electrification still hinges on infrastructure and incentives.

Taken together, these moves are set to strengthen the brand’s footing in Europe and shape a 2026 lineup centered on electric and hybrid technologies.
