Chery UAE, represented in the country by AW Rostamani Group, has launched AWR Approved, a new certified pre-owned program. The premise is straightforward: offer used-car buyers the kind of confidence usually reserved for a new purchase, but at a more accessible price. Certified pre-owned schemes have long been standard among major brands, and Chery is now putting the emphasis on transparent, predictable transactions in the UAE. It comes across as a logical move for a marque building everyday trust in a competitive market.
Only selected Chery vehicles qualify, and they are available exclusively through the brand’s authorized showrooms and its website. Each car undergoes a comprehensive multi-stage inspection and strict certification to manufacturer standards. Key systems are checked, and buyers are promised compliance with requirements for quality, durability, and performance. An extended warranty is included to defuse the biggest fear in the used-car space: an unexpected breakdown right after purchase.
The program also focuses on a clean ownership history: Chery notes that it provides verified data on previous owners and follows unified rules for assessing condition. The package brings added perks such as complimentary servicing, the kind of extras rarely seen in typical second-hand deals. Taken together, it aims to remove the guesswork and make the used route feel far less like a gamble.
