Hongqi E-HS9 to debut at Singapore Motor Show 2026
Chinese brand Hongqi enters Singapore with the E-HS9, debuting at the Singapore Motor Show 2026. Dual-motor luxury electric SUV with up to 515 km range.
Chinese brand Hongqi is preparing an official entry into Singapore, with the E-HS9 set to become its first model in the country. The debut is scheduled for the Singapore Motor Show 2026, running from January 8 to 11—an unveiling that signals a confident push into the city-state.
The Hongqi E-HS9 is a full-size electric SUV with imposing proportions: length 5209 mm, width 2010 mm, height 1731 mm, and a wheelbase of 3110 mm. Those dimensions place it squarely in executive territory, where generous space and passenger comfort take priority over flash. The positioning feels deliberate: this is a premium SUV built to cocoon occupants.
As the brand’s electric flagship, the E-HS9 uses a dual-motor setup, with each motor rated at 218 hp. In practice, that configuration is aimed at delivering confident performance, including at higher speeds, without sacrificing composure.
Driving range varies by battery. There are three options: a base 84 kWh pack with around 380 km of range, a 99 kWh version offering roughly 450 km, and a 120 kWh battery rated for up to 515 km on the WLTP cycle. The spread should cover daily commutes and longer trips alike, depending on priorities.
For ride comfort, the E-HS9 features air suspension that adapts to road conditions and driving style. Lighting is handled by modern LED headlights for clear visibility after dark and in poor weather. An audio system with up to 16 speakers is available, rounding out a spec sheet that leans toward quiet, unhurried travel—just the right emphasis for a luxury electric SUV of this size.
