BMW M3 Touring arrives in China on Nov 1, 2025: up to 530 hp from a twin‑turbo inline‑six, 0–100 km/h in 3.6 s, MxDrive, iDrive 8.5 and wagon practicality.

BMW Group has announced that the new BMW M3 Touring will make its first appearance in China on November 1, 2025, at the BMW M Festival. The wagon keeps the M3’s signature performance DNA while adding extra space and day-to-day usability.

The design has been lightly sharpened with more expressive body lines and broader arches. Inside, there’s a new sports steering wheel with a red 12 o’clock marker, black trim accents, and the familiar dual display—12.3 and 14.9 inches—running iDrive 8.5.

Under the hood sits a 3.0-liter inline-six with twin turbos, delivering up to 390 kW (530 hp) in the MxDrive version. The standard configuration is rear-wheel drive with 353 kW, while the Competition variant offers 375 kW. Every version uses the 8-speed M Steptronic transmission.

The sprint to 100 km/h takes just 3.6 seconds, placing the M3 Touring among the quickest wagons in the world. BMW says the newcomer combines everyday comfort with the character of a true sports car—a balanced mix of speed, agility, and practicality that feels right at home in a performance wagon.
