Audi weighs direct sales of classic parts in North America

Audi Club North America surveys owners on direct access to Audi Tradition factory parts for classic models, aiming to simplify sourcing in the U.S. and Canada.

Audi is weighing a simpler path to factory parts for its classic models in the United States and Canada. The push comes via a survey from Audi Club North America, which is gathering input from owners and fans to pass along to Audi Tradition.

Audi Tradition already manufactures and supplies original and refurbished components for older vehicles, but in North America they are not sold directly through official channels. That leaves owners importing from Europe, working through dealers, hunting for equivalents on the secondary market, or turning to resale platforms.

The survey is designed to gauge demand and define the most effective supply format. Audi Club North America noted that the responses will be shared with Audi Tradition and could influence a decision on launching sales. The questionnaire is brief, and participants are entered into a prize drawing.

If the plan takes shape, owners of classic Audi models will have a clearer route to keeping their cars in original condition. For the brand, it promises an additional revenue stream, a stronger bond with enthusiasts, and fresh interest in the marque’s heritage among younger car fans. For a community that juggles parts sourcing just to keep beloved models running, the prospect sounds like welcome, practical progress.
