Discover KGM Actyon Hybrid for the Dutch market: a coupe-like crossover with 204 hp on the Torres platform, reviving a SsangYong-era name and expanding range.

KGM has brought a new hybrid crossover, the Actyon, to the Dutch market. The model revives a name from the SsangYong era and represents another step in widening the brand’s portfolio, previously known for the Rexton, Torres and the Musso EV electric pickup. Reusing a familiar badge feels like a deliberate nod to the marque’s roots, a way to ease buyers into KGM’s next chapter.

The KGM Actyon Hybrid sits on the Torres platform and shares its 2.68-meter wheelbase. Overall length reaches 4.74 meters, 4 centimeters more than the Torres. Styled with a more coupe-like silhouette, the Actyon is positioned a rung above the Torres in the brand hierarchy. The sleeker roofline subtly shifts the focus toward road presence and image rather than outright ruggedness.

Its powertrain is carried over from the Torres Hybrid: a 1.5 T-GDI gasoline engine working with an electric motor for a combined output of 204 hp. KGM has not disclosed the transmission type or any electric-only range. The decision to mirror the Torres setup signals a pragmatic approach—leaning on proven hardware while the finer technical details remain under wraps.
