Nissan is recalling the 2025 Nissan Armada and Murano, as well as the 2025 Infiniti QX80, due to an infotainment software issue. The glitch can appear at startup and may prevent the rearview camera image from displaying when the vehicle is in reverse, affecting a feature many drivers rely on for everyday maneuvering.
The company has not disclosed how many vehicles are affected.
The remedy is a software update for the infotainment system, which can be installed at a dealership or delivered over the air. The remote option should make the fix quicker for many owners, while a dealer visit remains a straightforward path for those who prefer an appointment.
Owner notification letters are scheduled to begin on January 9, 2026. Vehicle identification numbers for the affected models will be searchable on the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website starting December 12, 2025.
