Lexus ES EV debuts in Spain: specs, range and prices
Lexus ES EV arrives in Spain with Signature trim, FWD or AWD, up to 530 km WLTP range, 75–77 kWh batteries and prices from €62,737. Full specs and tech.
Lexus is taking the ES into new territory: for the first time in the model’s history, Spain gets a fully electric version. Pre-sales are already underway, with first deliveries promised next year. Hybrids remain in the lineup, but the focus now shifts to the ES EV — the showcase for the refreshed sedan’s design, technology, and philosophy. The move neatly signals where the ES is heading next.
From the outside, the electric versions stand out with a cleaner front end: the upper grille is gone, while signature headlights with a double-L motif emphasize a Clean Tech x Elegance theme. Every EV also comes with a wide sunroof stretching between the A and B pillars, complete with a traditional shade — a detail that has become rare even in the premium class. It’s a restrained, modern look that fits the brief.

In Spain, the configuration has been streamlined to a single, well-appointed Signature trim. The spec includes Bi-LED headlights, a panoramic roof, 19-inch wheels, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, plus a broad set of driver assists. The Lexus Safety System+ 4 package is highlighted with adaptive cruise control that factors in road situations using map data. Keeping it to one comprehensive trim makes the choice straightforward.
Two technical versions will be offered. The base FWD delivers 165 kW (224 hp) with a 77 kWh battery and a claimed range of up to 530 km on the WLTP cycle. The higher-spec AWD makes 252 kW (343 hp) and uses a 75 kWh battery — quicker and more planted, but with less range. Pricing in Spain starts at 62,737 euros for the FWD and 65,237 euros for the AWD, before discounts. On paper, the balance between range and traction looks sensibly judged.
