Bentley recalls 130 units of the 2023 Bentayga Hybrid over a potential battery overheating and fire risk during charging. Dealers will update software free.

Bentley is recalling 130 units of the 2023 Bentayga Hybrid, targeting a specific batch of its plug-in flagship.

The move follows concerns that the model’s high-voltage battery could overheat during charging, which carries a risk of fire. For a luxury SUV that leans on electrification, attention to thermal control is not a footnote—it’s central to long-term trust.

Dealers will update the battery software and, if required, replace the pack at no cost to owners. Letters to affected customers are scheduled to be mailed on December 23, 2025.
