Toyota updates the bZ4X with 57.7 and 73.1 kWh batteries, up to 569 km WLTP, quicker 10-80% in 28 min, 252 kW AWD and 22 kW AC. EU sales start Dec 2025.

Toyota has unveiled an updated bZ4X, pairing a reworked powertrain with two new battery options rated at 57.7 and 73.1 kWh. With the larger pack and 18-inch wheels, the maximum WLTP range is stated at up to 569 km. In the AWD version, output rises to 252 kW thanks to new eAxles that integrate the motor, transmission and inverter—a tidy piece of packaging.

The 57.7 kWh battery is reserved for the Mid front-wheel-drive model, while the 73.1 kWh pack is offered on both FWD and AWD variants. Fast charging from 10 to 80% takes 28 minutes, and the High trim includes a 22 kW AC onboard charger. The AWD setup is rated to tow up to 1,500 kg—numbers that read as well-judged for its class.

Inside, the bZ4X adopts a new horizontally oriented layout with a 14-inch display and a digital center console. European sales are slated to start in December 2025, with deliveries continuing through February 2026. Taken together, the revisions give the bZ4X a more compelling presence among Europe’s latest showroom arrivals.
