The BMW i4 remains the most premium-leaning option. In eDrive40 form, its 340 hp motor and 81 kWh battery deliver up to 600 km WLTP and can reach 80% in just 31 minutes. Comfort and build quality are squarely in business-sedan territory, which makes it an easy recommendation for buyers who value refinement.

The BYD Seal, part of the new wave of Chinese EVs, offers 313 hp and an 82.5 kWh LFP battery. Real-world range is around 480 km, while used prices hover near €35,000. It is a convincing alternative thanks to a spacious cabin and generous equipment.

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is the tech leader of the group. Its 800-volt architecture lets the 74 kWh battery go from 10 to 80% in 18 minutes, and WLTP range exceeds 610 km. For about €35,000, it is possible to find examples that are almost new.
