Kia teases the next-gen Seltos: a redesign with Tiger Nose grille, vertical LED DRLs, light animation and a panoramic roof, ahead of its Dec 10 global debut.
Kia has released the first official teaser for the next-generation Seltos, set to debut on December 10. Even in brief cuts, the clip signals the most substantial overhaul in the model’s history: the design looks fully reworked, with a visual language that now sits closer to the brand’s latest global introductions.
The front end adopts the new corporate look: a wide Tiger Nose grille with a chrome surround is paired with vertical LED daytime running lights. The main headlamps are now integrated into the grille’s outer edges and stack multiple LED signatures—vertical, horizontal, and C-shaped. The result makes the Seltos read wider on the road and frames it as a more upmarket crossover.
A key moment in the teaser is the welcome light animation. The DRL sections and headlights perform a brief sequence when the car is unlocked. The footage also highlights a large Kia badge above the grille and a panoramic roof, indicating this feature will be available on higher trims. Judging by the execution, the lighting and surface work carry a lot of the premium impression here, which should help the Seltos stand out in the crowded compact SUV field.
