Cupra VZ Tribe Edition: exclusive 272-hp PHEV for Leon, Formentor and Terramar

Cupra has broadened its offering for its core models by unveiling the VZ Tribe Edition, a special range-topping trim. The package is available for the Leon, Leon Sportstourer, Formentor, and Terramar, with the all-electric Born and Tavascan left out.

Finished in the brand’s signature aesthetic and aimed at its loyal following, the VZ Tribe Edition introduces an exclusive Manganese Green Matte paint. It’s an extra-cost option at about 1,800 euros, while Midnight Black remains the sole no-cost color.

Standard equipment brings black mirror caps, darkened Cupra badges, and 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels depending on the model. Inside, there are dedicated trim materials, six-way electric adjustment for the front seats, and a memory function. The spec also includes a Sennheiser audio system, Travel Assist, adaptive DCC suspension, and a surround-view camera system for the Formentor and Terramar. As a bundle, it feels thoughtfully curated—useful tech and comfort features that add substance to the visual drama.

The VZ Tribe Edition is offered exclusively with a 272-hp plug-in hybrid powertrain. Prices range from 50,490 to 55,490 euros, which aligns with the hardware and positioning of Cupra’s upper-tier models.
