Buick Enclave has finally stepped outside the usual price range for mainstream family crossovers. The front-wheel-drive 2027 Avenir now starts at $63,300 before delivery, while the AWD version, with the mandatory freight charge included, costs at least $67,295. That is $3,300 more than a year ago.
The main reason for the increase is Super Cruise, a system that used to be a separate option and is now bundled into standard Avenir equipment along with a three-year OnStar One plan. It can handle steering, acceleration and braking on compatible roads, though it still needs an active data connection and the right subscription to keep working. Extending access to eight years costs an extra $3,000. The rest of the equipment list also matches the trim's premium ambitions.
The Enclave Avenir gets 22-inch wheels, a panoramic roof, a 30-inch digital display with Google built-in, a head-up display, surround-view cameras and a 16-speaker Bose audio system. The front seats are heated, ventilated and offer massage, the outboard rear seats are heated, and the suspension uses adaptive dampers.
Mechanically, almost nothing has changed. Under the hood is still the turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder making 328 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic. Buyers can choose front- or all-wheel drive, but there is still no more powerful engine, no hybrid setup and no V6 option for the Enclave.
The starting price is not the ceiling, either. Tri-coat white paint adds $600, roof rails add $575, ambient door lighting adds $425, and the eight-year OnStar package with Super Cruise adds another $3,000.
Configured that way, an all-wheel-drive Enclave reaches roughly $71,895 before any dealer-installed accessories. The increase isn't simply a markup on last year's car — the Super Cruise package alone used to cost several thousand dollars on its own.
For buyers who already planned to order the system, the 2027 Enclave makes a reasonable case. But those who don't need hands-free driving can no longer get the luxury-focused Avenir at the old price — they'll have to step down to the Sport Touring trim, or pay for a technology they might rarely use.
According to 32CARS.RU, the three-row Buick Enclave received new pricing for the U.S. market ahead of the 2027 model year.
