Citroen Basalt Vision concept is a sport-focused show car

Citroen unveiled the Basalt Vision concept—a sport-focused take on the Basalt sold in Brazil and India. As the line isn’t officially offered in Europe, this newcomer will remain out of reach for local buyers.

The Basalt Vision wears Amber Yellow paint set off by Andre Red accents. Visual tweaks include 18-inch wheels, a broad body kit, a rear diffuser, a pronounced spoiler above the tailgate glass, and decorative pieces on the C-pillars. Performance figures were not disclosed.

The concept hints at where sportier Basalt variants might head. Such projects speak to buyers who prize bold design and a strong visual presence; for Europe, though, it remains purely a show car. With powertrain details kept under wraps, the emphasis is squarely on stance and surfacing—and it makes the message hard to miss.
