Australia gets first look at the 2026 Ford Ranger and Everest: wider access to the 3.0L V6 diesel, standard 10-speed auto, Black Edition, Tremor and Wolftrak.

Ford has unveiled the updated 2026 model year Ranger and Everest — with Australia getting the first look. It’s a scheduled refresh of the 2022 design developed by Ford Australia and supplied to more than a hundred countries.

The visual tweaks are restrained: chrome gives way to gloss or matte black, and there are new wheel designs for XLT, Wildtrak, and Platinum. The Ranger lineup now adds a Black Edition, while the Everest range introduces an Active trim that replaces Ambiente and Trend. The darker finishes lend both models a cleaner, more purposeful stance without shouting about it.

The headline mechanical change is wider access to the 3.0-liter V6 diesel (247 hp and 600 Nm), now available even on the entry-level Ranger XL and Everest Active. The base 2.0 EcoBlue has been updated to 168 hp and 405 Nm, and every version now uses a 10-speed automatic. A single transmission across the range tidies up the spec sheet and makes choosing easier.

The Ranger Tremor returns — this time with the V6. There’s also a new limited Wolftrak edition: signature Traction Green paint, Zest accents, 17-inch black wheels, a sports bar, and LED lighting — a showroom-ready package with a convincingly rugged vibe.
