Dacia Striker: a lifted estate that does it all for under €25,000

New Dacia Striker Undercuts Rivals With Sub-€25,000 Price dacia.co.uk

The Striker slots below the Bigster as a lower, more car-like crossover-estate. Hybrid, LPG and 4x4 versions arrive in Europe before the end of 2026.

Dacia is expanding its C-segment line-up with the new Striker. It's not a replacement for the Bigster but a lower, more car-focused alternative for buyers who want a practical family car without stepping up to an SUV.

In format, the Striker is closer to a raised estate. It measures 4.62 m — about 5 cm longer than the Bigster, yet its body sits 18 cm lower. Ground clearance reaches 19–20 cm depending on the version. The Mild Hybrid-G 140 offers 600 l of boot space — less than the Bigster and Jogger, but on par with C-segment estates.

The engine range will be fully hybrid. The entry-level Mild Hybrid-G 140 combines a 1.2-litre three-cylinder unit running on petrol and LPG, a 48-volt system, a 0.8 kWh battery and either a six-speed manual or an automatic. There won't be a plain petrol version without gas tanks.

For the Netherlands, the main option will be the Hybrid 155, with a 1.8-litre petrol engine, an electric motor, a starter-generator and an automatic transmission. A Hybrid 150 4x4 is also on the cards — a mild hybrid with a 31 hp rear electric motor and a dual-clutch automatic. The Dacia Striker goes on sale in Europe before the end of 2026, and in France the starting price is promised to be under €25,000.
