Fiat has officially unveiled in Europe the new Fiat 500 Hybrid 2026—the first combustion-engine variant of the third generation, which since 2020 has been sold only as an electric car. Production began in mid-November, and the premiere was folded into the week-long “L’Italia che piace” festival, paired with a partnership at the Turin Film Festival.

The hybrid 500 brings the badge back to its roots, keeping its compact city footprint while adding refreshed styling, better comfort, and more modern electronics. The newcomer is offered in three body styles: hatchback, Cabrio, and the 3+1 with an additional rear door.

For Europe, four trims are announced: the entry Pop, the better-equipped Icon, the premium La Prima, and the Torino special series, created to celebrate renewed ties with the historic Mirafiori plant and the partnership with the Turin Film Festival.

Fiat is backing the launch with exhibitions, dedicated media drives, and a string of city events, underscoring that the hybrid complements the 500e. The 500 Hybrid is set to bolster the model’s standing in Europe, where demand for attainable electrified cars continues to grow.
