Chery Tiggo 7 CSH scores five stars in Euro NCAP safety tests
Chery's Tiggo 7 CSH hybrid secures a Euro NCAP five-star rating, with strong adult and child protection. Specs: up to 265 kW, 90 km EV range, 4.9 L/100 km.
Chery continues to build momentum on the global stage: the hybrid Tiggo 7 CSH has earned the maximum five stars in Euro NCAP testing. The model posted strong results across all four key categories—adult and child occupant protection, safety for vulnerable road users, and the effectiveness of its driver-assistance systems.
Adult protection is rated at 82%, supported by a body structure that is 60% steel and reinforced pillars. Child safety stands at 85% thanks to i-Size mounts and successful tests with 6- and 10-year-old dummies. The performance of AEB, blind-spot monitoring, and other assistants contributed to an 80% score for vulnerable road users and 78% in the Safety Assist category. Taken together, the figures suggest a crossover with solid passive safety and well-tuned electronics working in concert.
Chery says buyers are increasingly looking for a blend of price, technology, and safety, and the Tiggo 7 CSH is designed to meet those expectations. The hybrid delivers up to 265 kW, can travel up to 90 km on electric power, and consumes from 4.9 L/100 km. On paper, that package should appeal to drivers who split their time between city commutes and longer journeys.
