Dacia updates the Duster for 2025: new Eco-G 120, Hybrid-G 150 4x4 and Hybrid 155 bring more power and lower prices across trims—better value without compromise

Dacia has unveiled an updated powertrain lineup for the Duster—and the overhaul goes deeper than anticipated. According to SPEEDME.RU, the brand has retired its previous engines and replaced them with more powerful, more efficient options. The base Eco-G 120 now takes the place of the 1.0 Eco-G: output climbs from 100 to 120 hp, while the entry-level Essential drops by 50 euros to 27,200 euros. For a budget crossover, that’s a rare move.

The mild-hybrid has been revised as well: the three-cylinder 1.2 now delivers 140 hp, up 10 hp over the previous setup. This version is priced at 30,000 euros. Even more compelling is the new Hybrid-G 150 4x4: the all-wheel-drive system runs on both gasoline and gas, and power rises to 150 hp. At the same time, the price falls to 35,900 euros—significantly below the former 37,050 euros.

The range is rounded out by the Hybrid 155 with a 1.8-liter engine, rated at 155 hp. It’s available from 31,500 euros and comes in cheaper than the outgoing 141-hp variant. All engines can be paired with every standard trim, from Essential to Limited Edition.

Altogether, the update signals that Dacia is intent on preserving its reputation for value without trimming capability. The new Duster arrives not only stronger but also more attainable—an uncommon combination on Europe’s 2025 market and one that feels like a deliberate nudge to the rest of the segment.
