Next-gen Porsche Macan EV debuts in Dubai: 4S and GTS specs, charging, price

At the Icons of Porsche festival in Dubai, the next-generation all-electric Porsche Macan made its public debut. Several versions shared the stage, including the Macan 4S and the flagship Macan GTS, presented as part of a special Gems Collection with a focus on signature Sapphire, Emerald, and Amethyst hues.

The electric Macan is built on the PPE platform co-developed with Audi. Its 800-volt architecture enables charging from 10 to 80 percent in just 21 minutes at a 270 kW station.

The Macan 4S delivers up to 380 kW (516 hp) in overboost and accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. Top speed is 240 km/h.

The range-topping Macan GTS is quicker: 420 kW (571 hp), 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, and a 250 km/h maximum. Both versions feature all-wheel drive, a dual-motor setup, and a retuned suspension with even sportier calibration. Porsche emphasizes that the new Macan has the lowest center of gravity among its SUVs—an emphasis that fits the car’s performance brief.

The design is cleaner and more technical: slim upper DRLs with the main headlights mounted lower, a smooth roofline, and a broad sculpted shoulder. Bright paints and gold-finished wheels on the show car underline the collector-minded Gems Collection theme. The photos also reveal an enlarged aero package and a fully closed radiator-style panel, a hallmark of modern Porsche EVs.

The cabin follows the Taycan’s template: a large curved display, a digital instrument cluster, premium materials, and deep personalization.

The Macan EV GTS will reach dealers in spring 2026. U.S. pricing starts at $105,350—noticeably below the Turbo, yet clearly above the 4S. Availability in Russia remains uncertain due to restrictions, but demand for the electric Macan is expected to be strong, as the model is among the brand’s most popular SUVs.
