Polestar refreshes the Polestar 4 for the 2027 model year — new name, retuned chassis on Rear Motor and Dual Motor trims, and a price cut on the AWD version in Korea.
Polestar has refreshed the Polestar 4 for the 2027 model year and opened online sales in South Korea. The model is now called the Polestar 4 Coupe — a name change that highlights its blend of SUV space and a more dynamic coupe-like silhouette.
The lineup has been rebuilt around three versions: Rear Motor, Dual Motor and Dual Motor Performance. The Rear Motor and Dual Motor trims now come with reworked chassis settings — uprated passive dampers, new springs and anti-roll bars, polyurethane rebound stops, and sharper steering calibration. Polestar promises a more composed balance between everyday comfort and stability under harder driving.

There are visual tweaks too. Body-coloured emblems have been replaced by contrasting badges: black for the Storm and Electron shades, grey for Snow, Magnesium and Space. The cabin gets a black emblem on the panoramic roof, revised trim across versions, and a new standard interior in Charcoal Micro Tech with Zinc accents.
The headline news for buyers is the pricing. The Rear Motor holds its previous sticker of 66.9 million won (around $48,500), while the Dual Motor drops by 2 million won to 69.9 million won (around $50,700). The Pilot Pack with driver assists, including Pilot Assist, remains standard. The Plus Pack costs 6 million won (about $4,350) and adds a Harman Kardon audio system, Pixel LED headlights, power recline for the second row, and a hands-free power tailgate. The Nappa Upgrade drops from 4.5 to 4 million won (roughly from $3,260 to $2,900).
The Performance Pack is priced at 6 million won (around $4,350). It throws in 22-inch wheels, four-piston Brembo brakes, a chassis tuned by Polestar Engineering, three-mode active ZF dampers, and Swedish Gold signature details. The Polestar 4 Coupe makes up to 544 hp, sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds in the Dual Motor version, carries a 100 kWh battery and supports DC fast charging up to 200 kW.
