Ford Zhiqu Liema debuts at Guangzhou Auto Show: EV and range-extended SUV
Jiangling-Ford unveils Zhiqu Liema at Guangzhou Auto Show: midsize SUV as EV or range-extended. Pre-orders from 229,800 yuan, AWD, up to 650 km range.
Ford Zhiqu Liema made its debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show, introducing a new midsize SUV from Jiangling-Ford. Pre-orders are already open across five trims at 229,800–282,800 yuan, with deliveries slated to begin before year’s end. Two versions are on the table: a fully electric model and one with a range-extended setup.

Styling nods to the Bronco Sport, but the execution feels more urban: a horizontal grille connects to the headlamps, there’s an illuminated BRONCO script and an integrated air duct, and a roof-mounted lidar underscores the tech-forward brief. Both variants share key dimensions at 5,025 mm in length and 1,960 mm in width; height varies by specification, and the wheelbase measures 2,950 mm.

Interior
The cabin centers on a 15.6-inch Mini-LED display paired with a Qualcomm 8255 chip. Kit includes a 70-inch AR-HUD, a 360-degree camera, a 21-speaker audio system, a 7.5-liter refrigerator, and a panoramic roof. The seats can fold into a flat sleeping surface, while Face ID applies personal settings. The mix reads thoughtfully curated, leaning into everyday comfort without overcomplicating the interface.

Electric version
The EV uses two motors rated at 130 and 202 kW, a 105.4 kWh battery, and claims up to 650 km of range. The range-extended setup pairs a 1.5-liter engine (110 kW) with two electric motors and delivers up to 180 kW to the rear, offering up to 220 km on electric power and as much as 1,220 km combined. All-wheel drive is standard, with claimed approach and departure angles of 30 and 32 degrees, 220 mm of ground clearance, and a 600 mm wading depth. On paper, that blend of numbers points to credible light-trail ability for a city-leaning SUV.
