Roush has expanded compatibility of its 705 HP supercharger kit for the Ford F-150 5.0 V8. The Tremor is now on the list. Price tag: $8,900.
Roush has expanded the compatibility of its 705 HP supercharger kit for the Ford F-150 with the 5.0 V8 — the package can now officially be fitted to the Tremor too. Until recently the off-road trim was excluded from the list, leaving Tremor V8 owners watching the upgrade from the sidelines. The base 5.0-liter Coyote puts out 400 hp and 410 lb-ft, but with the kit installed the figures jump to 705 hp and 635 lb-ft.
This isn’t a factory Ford build but a package from Roush aimed at drivers who want more than the stock V8 delivers. At the heart of it sits the Roush TVS R2650 supercharger, with twin four-lobe rotors and a 170-degree twist. The gain is substantial: +305 hp over stock. For comparison, Ford partners with Whipple on its own dealer-installed supercharger kit for the F-150 with the 5.0 Coyote, rated at 700 hp and 590 lb-ft with factory warranty backing.
The F-150 Tremor itself remains the off-road version of the pickup. According to Ford, the truck comes with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 as standard, 33-inch all-terrain tires, off-road tuned suspension, the Rock Crawl mode and the Ford Trail Control system. The 5.0 V8 is an option, and it’s now far more appealing — that’s the engine the new Roush compatibility list covers.
The Roush supercharger package is priced at $8,900, and the kit includes a Roush calibration for 93-octane fuel, an upgraded low-temperature radiator, a forged aluminum crankshaft damper, and a 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty when installed by an ASE-certified technician. Before placing the order, it’s worth keeping in mind that the extra power brings tighter requirements on fuel, servicing and the legality of the install in a given market. According to 32CARS.RU, the Ford Transit 2027 recently received a safety package with anti-theft protection.
