Audi opens UK orders for the updated 2026 Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron. Prices start at £46,260 ($62,165) and climb close to $95,000 for the top Sportback Vorsprung quattro.

Audi has launched the updated Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron for the 2026 model year. Order books are open in the UK, with the first deliveries scheduled for this summer. The lineup kicks off at £46,260 ($62,165) for the entry-level Sport, while the range-topping Sportback Vorsprung quattro climbs to £70,560 ($94,825) — meaning Audi’s smallest electric crossover no longer reads as a true “entry-level” offering.

The two body styles differ in silhouette. The standard Q4 e-tron keeps its classic SUV shape, while the Sportback opts for a sloping roofline and a sportier stance — a body style Audi charges roughly £1,900 ($2,555) more for on every trim. The range covers four grades: Sport, S line, Black Edition and the flagship Vorsprung, which adds Matrix LED headlights, OLED taillights, a panoramic roof, a Sonos premium sound system and a 12-inch front passenger display.

Under the skin, the Q4 e-tron comes in three power levels: 201, 282 and 335 hp. The base version runs a 63 kWh battery, delivers a 274-mile range and hits 62 mph in 8.1 seconds. The mid-spec and range-topping variants share an 82 kWh pack: the mid-spec needs 6.6 seconds to 62 mph, while the Q4 e-tron quattro performance does it in 5.4 seconds and tops out at 185 mph. DC fast charging peaks at 175 kW.

The update isn’t just about hardware. Audi is pushing a more modern digital experience, improved efficiency and better day-to-day practicality. For Europe, the brand has also flagged exterior tweaks, a new media system, an updated cabin, longer range and bidirectional charging on selected markets.

The Q4 e-tron stays a compelling pick for buyers shopping the premium compact electric crossover space: a known brand, all-wheel drive on the upper variants and respectable fast-charging. The bigger question is no longer just the sticker price — it’s service availability, charging infrastructure and software support. Via autoevolution.
