The Genesis GV60 Magma is the brand's first performance model with 650 HP, 0-100 in 3.4 sec. Launching in Germany in 2026 at €85,990. Premium electric crossover.
The Genesis GV60 Magma will be the first production model in the brand's new sports lineup. According to the latest information, the German launch is scheduled for the end of 2026, with a starting price of 85,990 euros. For reference, the standard GV60 starts at around 55,000 euros in Germany.
The electric crossover is equipped with two electric motors producing a combined 478 kW, or 650 hp. It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 264 km/h. Industry sources have noted that the GV60 Magma shares its technical underpinnings with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Kia EV6 GT, but leans more heavily into premium materials and Genesis-specific tuning.
The Magma variant sets itself apart from the standard GV60 with more than just extra power. It features a more aggressive body, a lower and wider stance (the roof sits about 2 cm lower), 21-inch forged wheels, a rear spoiler, and a signature bright orange paint job. It also includes driving modes tailored for spirited driving, with simulated gear shifts and a sporty exhaust note.
The launch of the GV60 Magma is a significant move for the premium segment: Genesis is no longer content to be merely a comfortable alternative to German luxury. Now the brand is pushing into the territory of high-performance sub-brands, where buyers care as much about driving excitement as they do about leather, screens, and range.
