Zeekr 001 Fifth Anniversary Edition Limited Batch Returns

Zeekr has launched another limited batch of the 001 Fifth Anniversary Edition. The first run sold out within days of its April launch, and now the brand is leveraging strong demand to support sales and solidify its position in the high-end EV segment.

The price remains unchanged at 365,000 yuan (around $53,900). Buyers who put down a deposit by May 31 receive several bonuses: an 8,000-yuan tax subsidy, 5,000-yuan trade-in support, a 5,000-yuan insurance subsidy, and another 5,000-yuan option fund. The package also includes a commemorative set, track training, and lifetime access to advanced driver-assistance features.

The hardware is far from cosmetic. The 001 Fifth Anniversary Edition is built on a 900-volt architecture with dual silicon-carbide electric motors, delivering 680 kW (912 hp). It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.91 seconds and reaches a top speed of 280 km/h.

The 103-kWh CATL Qilin battery supports 6C charging, replenishing from 10 to 80 percent in roughly 10 minutes. The car features KW suspension, six-piston Brembo brakes, carbon-fiber aero parts, track mode, an intelligent drift assist, and an AI coach.

Amid China’s price war, Zeekr is taking a different route. Instead of cutting premium features, it’s selling speed, technology, and rarity. In April, the brand set a record with 31,787 deliveries, up 132 percent year-on-year, while the average transaction price remains near 350,000 yuan. For the Chinese EV market, this is no longer just solid momentum—it’s an attempt to prove that expensive electric cars can also grow.
