Alfa Romeo has outlined its future lineup following the Stellantis group’s Investor Day 2026. According to Auto Express, the brand is readying updates for the Junior, a new C-segment family hatchback, replacements for the Giulia and Stelvio, and a new C-SUV.
The upcoming Alfa Romeo crossover will ride on the STLA Medium platform, which already underpins the Peugeot 3008, Vauxhall Grandland, and the new Lancia Gamma. Since the architecture supports multiple powertrains, the SUV will be multi-energy, with hybrid and fully electric versions expected.
The company describes the newcomer as a “true Alfa Romeo,” built in Italy, with key priorities being interior quality, dynamics, and driving pleasure. Technical specifications are still under wraps, but Auto Express anticipates that the Alfa will get unique Smartcockpit interface calibrations and possibly elements of the STLA One technology suite, including the STLA Brain centralized electronics.
While this update focuses on Alfa Romeo’s European strategy, it provides a clear picture of where the brand is heading. Alfa Romeo is trying to enter the mass European family SUV segment without losing its driver-focused character. The big unknowns now are pricing, range, hybrid performance, and how the chassis tuning will actually translate on the road.
