Nissan unveils the fourth‑gen Navara with a 2.4 bi‑turbo diesel (150 kW/470 Nm), 7 drive modes, electric steering, 7.7 l/100 km, and a 9‑inch infotainment.

Nissan has officially unveiled the fourth-generation Navara. Built on a shared platform with the current Mitsubishi Triton, the pickup has grown to 5,320 mm in length and 1,865 mm in width, while the wheelbase is now slightly shorter at 3,130 mm.

The headline upgrade is a new 2.4‑liter four‑cylinder bi‑turbo diesel rated at 150 kW and 470 Nm—an increase of 10 kW and 20 Nm over the previous 2.5 turbodiesel. Power is sent through the Super 4WD system, and, for the first time on a Navara, electric power steering is fitted. The suspension has also been reworked to boost comfort and stability, a combination that should make everyday driving more relaxed without dulling response.

The Navara now offers seven drive modes: Normal, Eco, Sand, Mud, Gravel, Snow, and Rock. Despite the power bump, fuel consumption drops to 7.7 l/100 km from the previous 8.1. Payload and towing figures remain intact at up to 1,000 kg and 3.5 tonnes—sensible continuity for buyers who count on capability first.

Inside, there’s a new 9‑inch infotainment display with smartphone integration and a feed from the surround‑view camera. The list of available driver assists includes intelligent cruise control, lane‑keeping, and traffic sign recognition, bringing the tech suite in line with what this segment now expects.
