Mercedes-Benz expands its GLB EV lineup with the new GLB 250, offering 272 hp, 527 km range, and faster charging. Starting at €54,764 in the Netherlands.
Mercedes-Benz has introduced a new GLB 250 variant to its European electric lineup. Slotting between the entry-level GLB 200 and the longer-range GLB 250+, it starts at €54,764 in the Netherlands—€3,025 more than the GLB 200.
For that extra cost, buyers get 272 hp instead of 224 hp from the GLB 200, along with a 71.7 kWh battery pack (up from 58 kWh). Range increases from 430 to 527 km. Charging also improves: the GLB 250 supports DC fast charging at up to 250 kW, while the base version is limited to 200 kW. The 0-100 km/h sprint takes 7.4 seconds, versus 8.2 seconds for the GLB 200.
The new variant differs from the GLB 250+ in battery capacity: the higher-spec model has an 85 kWh pack and a range of up to 632 km. However, power output is identical between the GLB 250 and GLB 250+ at 272 hp. The top-tier GLB 350 4Matic delivers 354 hp and is offered exclusively in Business Solution AMG trim.
