2026 Renault Master: Diesel and Electric E-Tech Pricing Announced
Renault Australia reveals 2026 Master van pricing. Diesel starts at $55,990, electric E-Tech at $77,990. Electric range up to 409 km. Features 10-inch screen, safety assist. Arrives June 2026.
Renault Australia has officially announced pricing for the all-new fourth-generation Master. Diesel versions will hit local dealerships from June 2026, with the electric Master E-Tech arriving later in the year. The entry-level diesel starts at A$55,990 ($40,554) before on-road costs — just A$790 ($572) more than the outgoing model. The electric variant kicks off at A$77,990 ($56,457).
The Master E-Tech marks a significant debut for the brand in Australia. Although the electric Master had been sold in other markets, it was never offered locally before. The front-wheel-drive van is powered by a 105 kW (around 143 hp) electric motor producing 300 Nm of torque, paired with an 87 kWh battery. Renault claims a WLTP range of up to 409 km. Key competitors include the Ford E-Transit, LDV eDeliver 9, and Mercedes-Benz eSprinter — and the Master E-Tech undercuts all of them on price in Australia.
Under the hood of the diesel Master sits an updated 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 125 kW (about 170 hp) and 380 Nm. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic gearbox, both driving the front wheels. Payload capacity for the diesel versions ranges from 1,811 to 1,923 kg, while the E-Tech manages between 1,084 and 1,164 kg. All variants can tow up to 2,000 kg.
Standard equipment on the new Master includes a three-seat cabin, a bulkhead with window, a side sliding door, rear barn doors, automatic headlights, a rain sensor, a 10-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a reverse camera, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and rear parking sensors. The E-Tech adds Google services. The van also earned a Platinum safety rating from Euro NCAP.
