Xpeng P7+ Electric Sedan Opens for Orders in Spain
Xpeng opens orders for the P7+ electric sedan in Spain. Starting at €40,990, this 5.07m EV offers up to 530 km range. AWD Performance version hits 503 hp.
Xpeng has opened orders in Spain for the P7+, a large electric sedan that the brand calls its new flagship for the local market. The first cars should arrive with customers in June, and the starting price, factoring in promotional offers and an advance on state subsidies, is quoted from €40,990.
Without discounts or support programs, the base Xpeng P7+ RWD Standard Range costs €45,990. The RWD Long Range version is priced at €49,990, and the all-wheel-drive AWD Performance at €55,990. For a car 5.07 meters long, this is an aggressive proposition: in size, the P7+ is closer to large electric sedans like the Mercedes EQS, BMW i7, Volvo ES90, and the discontinued Tesla Model S, but its pricing plays in an entirely different league.
The dimensions are indeed far from compact: 5,070 mm long, 1,930 mm wide, 1,510 mm tall, with a 3,000 mm wheelbase. Inside, there are five seats, and the trunk offers 573 liters, expanding to 1,931 liters with the rear seats folded. For buyers who want a low, spacious EV for long-distance travel rather than an SUV, this is a rare format.
The base RWD Standard Range gets a 61.7 kWh LFP battery and a 245 hp electric motor, delivering up to 455 km of WLTP range. The RWD Long Range uses a larger 74.9 kWh LFP battery, puts out 313 hp, and can cover up to 530 km in the combined WLTP cycle, or up to 660 km in urban driving.

Topping the range is the AWD Performance, with dual electric motors producing 503 hp and a large battery. This P7+ sprints to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, though range dips slightly to 500 km WLTP. Here, the focus is as much on dynamics as it is on distance.
All versions come with a generous equipment list. The cabin centers on a 15.6-inch multimedia screen, alongside an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a head-up display with a 26-inch virtual image. An in-house Xpeng Turing chip with 750 TOPS of computing power handles the electronic systems. In practice, this provides a foundation for advanced multimedia, AI features, and driver assistance systems.
Standard kit includes a panoramic roof, a 20-speaker Xpeng Opera 2.0 audio system, a heat pump, and seats with heating, ventilation, and massage. In Spain, five exterior colors are available – white, black, grey, silver, and purple – while the interior can be had in either light or dark grey.
The P7+ is also important for Xpeng because it extends the brand’s lineup beyond the G6 and G9 crossovers. In Spain, the Chinese marque is now stepping into a segment traditionally dominated by expensive European EVs. Rather than trying to sell itself as premium, Xpeng is making its move through size, equipment, and price.
