Mercedes-AMG introduces the C 43 Edition R+ in Australia, featuring a new AMG Styling Package with gloss black aero elements, same 310 kW engine, and luxury interior. Priced from A$121,200.

Mercedes-AMG has launched a new special edition C 43 4Matic Edition R+ in Australia. The highlight is the AMG Styling Package, making its debut on the C 43. It brings gloss black aero elements: a front splitter, air intake inserts, a larger rear spoiler, a diffuser, and rear bumper details.

Under the hood, things stay familiar. A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with an electric turbocharger and 48-volt system delivers 310 kW (416 hp) and 500 Nm of torque. Power goes to all four wheels via a 9-speed AMG Speedshift MCT 9G automatic gearbox and 4Matic all-wheel drive. Standard gear includes the AMG Dynamic Plus Package and AMG Track Pace.

Inside, you get an 11.9-inch MBUX infotainment screen, MBUX Navigation Premium, a head-up display, Burmester 3D audio, a panoramic roof, and AMG Performance seats. The sedan also rides on 20-inch wheels, features adaptive AMG Ride Control suspension, and rear-axle steering. Mercedes-Benz Australia confirms that rear-wheel steering and adaptive suspension are part of the package for the AMG C-Class.

Pricing in Australia starts at 121,200 Australian dollars before on-road costs, which equates to roughly 87,300 US dollars at the April 30, 2026 exchange rate. Overall, Mercedes-AMG is betting on styling, equipment, and track telemetry packages rather than a big power boost.
