Dreame Nebula Next 01X: A Sneak Peek at the Future SUV
Dreame debuts its first vehicle, the Nebula Next 01X concept, at the Beijing Auto Show 2026. Featuring Level 4 autonomy, a 2000 TOPS computing platform, and solid-state battery, this concept SUV previews a production model expected by 2027.
At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, Dreame, a brand previously known for home appliances, unveiled the Nebula Next 01X concept, its first vehicle. The model is part of the Starry Sky project and marks the company’s entry into the automotive market.
Officially positioned as an SUV, the vehicle’s body style is actually closer to a coupe-like liftback with increased ground clearance. The design emphasizes aerodynamics, featuring smooth lines, aggressive air intakes, and extensive use of carbon fiber.
The biggest highlight is the technology package. The concept is equipped with a Level 4 autonomous driving system and a computing platform offering up to 2000 TOPS of processing power. This enables advanced driver-assistance and self-driving functions.
Power comes from a solid-state battery with a 60 Ah capacity and an energy density of about 450 Wh/kg. Further development could increase that figure to 800 Wh/kg. The concept also features an intelligent chassis with electromagnetic suspension to enhance handling and ride comfort.
According to preliminary information, a production version could arrive by 2027. The concept reflects a key trend for new vehicles in 2026, where autonomous technology, digital systems, and next-generation batteries take center stage.
