The flagship Jaecoo J8 was named the best premium midsize SUV, while the brand, together with Omoda, received the Best Market Perception Award. Beyond the trophies, the J8 persuaded the jury with a balanced mix of technology and comfort. The model features Torque Vectoring and a reinforced body structure, helping it feel composed both on the highway and off the beaten path. Inside, the cabin matches the brief with an upscale finish, expansive displays, and a suite of intelligent services — a formula that looks well judged for the region.

Looking ahead, the J8 SHS hybrid is slated to launch in January 2026 with output of up to 428 hp. On paper, the figures promise reassuring range and flexibility: up to 1,350 km without refueling and as much as 140 km of electric-only driving.
