Discover the new Lancia Ypsilon Turbo 100, a base model with a 99 hp engine, manual gearbox, and starting at €22,200. An affordable city car for 2026.

Lancia has expanded its Ypsilon lineup with the introduction of a new base model called the Turbo 100. This hatchback, featuring a 99 horsepower engine and a manual transmission, now stands as the most affordable option in the range, marking a notable entry among new cars for 2026.

The key change is the removal of the hybrid system. Under the hood sits a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine producing 99 horsepower, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.2 seconds and can reach a top speed of 194 km/h.

Externally, this version is identical to the hybrid models. Inside, however, the signature 'coffee' console has been replaced by a traditional gear lever due to the manual transmission. The equipment level remains strong for a base model, including two 10.25-inch screens, climate control, LED lighting, and a suite of safety systems as standard.

Pricing starts at €22,200, which is €3,000 less than the hybrid version. With available financing programs, the price can drop to as low as €15,950. This move effectively returns the Lancia model to the affordable city car segment.

The Ypsilon Turbo 100 demonstrates that even in an era of electrification, there remains demand for simpler solutions. Lancia is betting on affordability and a direct driving experience, offering an alternative to more complex hybrid systems.
