Genesis G90 sedan update: new design and autonomous driving tech
The updated Genesis G90 sedan, set for a 2026 debut, features a redesigned look and Level 3 autonomous driving. Learn about its minimalist front, new technologies, and luxury enhancements.
The updated Genesis G90 sedan has been spotted testing in the United States ahead of its expected debut in the third quarter of 2026. This model will feature a redesigned look and new technologies, including Level 3 autonomous driving.
The front end has taken on a more minimalist appearance, with a visually smaller radiator grille and emphasis shifted to narrow horizontal light strips that stretch across the full width of the body. Changes will also affect the rear, where new lighting and cleaner lines are anticipated.
The G90's silhouette will remain unchanged—a long body focused on passenger comfort. The interior has not been officially revealed, but a large multimedia screen, digital instrument panel, and head-up display are expected.
The key innovation is the Level 3 autonomous driving system, which will allow drivers to temporarily relinquish control on highways under certain conditions, thanks to the use of lidars, radars, and an updated control unit.
Genesis continues to build on its status as an "affordable Maybach," betting on technology and comfort. This updated model could strengthen the brand's position among the top luxury sedans in the premium segment.
