Venuum unveils V40 supercar based on Ferrari SF90 Stradale

Tuning studio Venuum has unveiled one of the most unusual projects in recent years—the V40 supercar, based on the Ferrari SF90 Stradale. The car has been completely redesigned, with its visual cues paying homage to the iconic Ferrari F40, one of the brand's most legendary models.

The project builds on the hybrid SF90, which features a 986-horsepower setup combining a twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors. Despite the radical exterior changes, the technical underpinnings appear to have remained largely untouched.

The focus lies squarely on design and aerodynamics. The body is crafted entirely from carbon fiber, featuring a reworked front end with new air intakes, massive fenders, aggressive side elements, and a large rear wing. The rear is complemented by a diffuser and three centrally positioned exhaust pipes—a clear nod to racing prototypes.

Visually, the model is nearly unrecognizable, bearing minimal resemblance to the original SF90. Against the backdrop of a trend toward personalization and exclusive projects, such work is becoming increasingly sought after by affluent clients. Venuum promises a limited production run and maximum exclusivity.

The project also highlights the enduring influence of classic models like the F40, whose design continues to inspire modern developments, even in an era of hybrids and electrification.

Despite Venuum's controversial reputation, the V40 emerges as a surprisingly cohesive project. It's a rare case where radical tuning avoids looking excessive and genuinely captures the spirit of the original, albeit in a contemporary interpretation.
