Bosch and Qualcomm Technologies have announced an expansion of their automotive partnership. The collaboration now extends beyond digital cockpits to include advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The new solutions will be built on the Snapdragon Ride platform and Bosch's integration system. They support a wide range of features, from basic functions like lane keeping and speed control to more advanced levels of automation.

A combined solution has also been introduced, integrating cockpit and ADAS functions on a single Snapdragon Ride Flex chip. This approach reduces vehicle architecture complexity and supports a shift toward centralized computing systems.

The first cars featuring these technologies are expected to hit the roads in 2028. Projects have already gained support from automakers in East Asia. Notably, Bosch has delivered over 10 million automotive computers based on Qualcomm platforms since 2021. These solutions are used in models across various classes in Europe, Asia, and North America, where safety, automation, and digital control systems play a crucial role.
