Chery unveils the interior of its new KP31 pickup, the first diesel plug-in hybrid in its class, set for 2026. Features include premium SUV elements and advanced off-road capabilities.
Chery has unveiled the interior of its new KP31 pickup, which will be the first diesel plug-in hybrid in its class. The model is set to hit the market by the end of 2026, with a gasoline hybrid version following in 2027.
The cabin blends elements of an off-roader and a premium SUV. Features include leather trim, a digital instrument panel, a large multimedia screen, and enhanced off-road capabilities. These encompass low-range transfer case control, differential locks, off-road driving modes, as well as crawl control and tight-space turning systems.

Top trims will get heated and ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, adaptive cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, and a premium audio system.
Technical specs are only partially revealed so far: a 2.5-liter diesel engine is confirmed. According to unofficial reports, the electric-only range could reach up to 170 km.
The pickup is designed to carry up to 1000 kg and tow trailers weighing up to 3500 kg. Overall, this positions the 2026 model as one focused on combining off-road prowess with hybrid technology.
