Stellantis faces delays in delivering Opel Grandland Long Range and Peugeot e-3008/e-5008 EVs, with wait times up to 2027 due to high corporate demand and supplier issues.

Stellantis is experiencing delays in delivering long-range electric vehicles under the Opel and Peugeot brands. The affected models include the Opel Grandland Long Range, as well as the Peugeot e-3008 and e-5008 in similar versions.

According to dealers, delivery timelines have shifted to the first or second quarter of 2027. In some cases, specific dates are not being provided at all. This creates difficulties for sellers, as the vehicles have already been sold to customers, but actual handovers are being postponed.

The company attributes the situation to high demand, particularly from corporate clients, who account for up to 90% of orders. An additional factor has been a slower-than-expected production launch from one of the suppliers.

The current average wait time ranges from six to eight months, but private buyers may not receive their cars until 2027. The manufacturer plans to prioritize fulfilling business orders through the end of September first.

Against this backdrop, some customers are canceling their purchases, and dealers are forced to provide temporary vehicles at their own expense. These new 2026 models have proven more popular than the manufacturer anticipated, leading to shortages and extended waiting periods.
